Prego Cravings

You probably thought this is where I would say something about all the random and weird foods I am craving. No, no Silly you.

No random food cravings for this pregnant lady. All I really crave is soccer. The sprinting, the defending, the burning satisfaction of slamming that ball into the net for a goal or two or three. My body aches to play. But the babe is too cute to risk anything, so I can wait a few more months to put my cleats back on my feet again.

Meanwhile....

Please curb the ravenous cravings of the pregnant lady by taking her to a Real Salt Lake game.

"So if you believe then just stand up on your feet, and shout it loud REAL. Here at the riot the battle has begun, we're here for RSL!!!"

RSL vs Columbus: 4 to 0
We slaughtered that team. Jon and I pretended to live in Ohio one time. Remember that adventure?

Daddy's Girl

Well Baby Girl,
It appears I may get left out from time to time. You are already quite the daddy's girl. He loves to come close to my tummy so he can talk to you and sing to you, and you go crazy with movement! It's pretty adorable how you respond to his voice, and it makes this journey all the more special.

A few days ago he kissed my tummy, and you gave him a super strong poke. We are both convinced you just gave him a little smooch in return.

I bought you a car seat and it's the exact brand I wanted after doing my research. And because the BYU Law Partner's Association is awesome, I bought your car seat gently used for $30! Now that's a steal of deal my Darlin. We are checking things off your to-do list slowly but surely.

23 weeks hee hee!

25 weeks
We've busted out the pillows and I am finally getting more comfortable sleeping on my left side. I am 100% a back sleeper so the transition has not been easy. Don't you worry though Goose, you are totally worth it.

3rd trimestering is right around the corner. Bring it on Baby!

Within the Realm of DITTO

I'll never forget the first time I met so many DITTOS in July 2010. It was nice to know that it wasn't a made up name. (Who has ever heard of the surname DITTO before?) Well there are actually a plethora of ridiculously cool people who carry the name. For proof you can blog stalk here or here or even here or here. See? I told ya they were awesome.

Ditto Reunion 2013
Traveled from Washington, Wyoming, Montana, Utah and Northern Idaho
Find a magnifying glass and try to find us.

I even have a twin - this is the other Rachel Ditto and if anyone ever confused me with her that would be totally fine with me. She pretty much rocks.
We wish we lived closer to Nathan and Rach! See how freaking fun they are? Here we are playing a Ditto Fam favorite - a Swedish lawn game called Kubb.

The Dittos are ACTIVE - physically. They love sports and are a very competitive bunch. You think they went easy on the pregnant lady for our baseball game? Think again.
I also had to laugh at myself trying to haul from base to base. I attempt to sprint and suddenly I am  Bowser (from MarioKart) out there. Takes forever to pick up some speed with this extra girth surrounding my middle.  :-)

The reunion felt like a sports camp to me (and especially my slowing down body). We had mens and womens volleyball, basketball, kubb, and a softball game. Oh and I almost forgot to mention we did early morning Zumba both days! I might have snuck in a couple power naps throughout the weekend.

The newest tradition is for me to teach a dance for the ladies to perform! Just glad I can contribute. This year I chose Bollywood because Jon's little cousins are too cute and I had to see them give it a whirl.

They were darling.

So we continued to play with the India theme for our family skit directly after. You should hear Matt's Indian accent. Funniest. Ever.

Grandma and Grandpa Ditto!

I really love these people to pieces.

And I fell completely in love with the newest member of the Dittos. I was tempted to take her home with me! Well at least we got good practice with this sweet baby girl.

It's so nice having in-laws and relatives I'm crazy about. There lives a world of Dittos, and I am proud to carry the name.
