Amberly Faith's First Day of Kindergarten

Well we did it and even with minimal tears!! Minimal tears for me, that is. How can I be sad when my big girl acts like it's Christmas? She is THRILLED to start Kindergarten and be in such a structured environment where she can make new friends, learn new things, and even make a craft every day! I am so proud of my beautiful, grown up girl. I'm happy with how this little movie turned out to depict her first day. I am keeping it for our family only, on a private setting. :)

Girls' Dance Recital 2019

Amberly and Violet have loved taking classes at ADA, the studio I teach at. They are pretty darn cute on stage and make my mama heart beam with joy when I see them up there!

I have all kinds of ideas of what to do with THREE daughters who hopefully love to dance...but for now this is just the ticket at our studio in Riverton! I took a small break from teaching right after Livy was born but I will be back at it come August!

Daddy's camera isn't quite as high definition unfortunately. We'll plan better for Christmas recital 2019 and I'll make sure he has my IPhone!

Here is part of Amberly's Mini Team Dance I caught from backstage:

Um...this was the best. During the finale, Vi got lost with the steps and decided to just book it off stage! ha ha!

HOW CUTE ARE THEY? I die. Obviously.
Growing up dancing was such a huge part of my life, that my heart just sings during recital days (once I get the stressful part of getting everything ready out of the way)!

I still have Amberly dance on Vi's younger team because I LOVE TO SEE THEM ON STAGE TOGETHER! And because...why not? Just more time for her to shine on stage with Vi Vi.
I think Amberly appreciates being the "leader" of this younger team too.

I am always intrigued to see what else I will do with the gift of dance in my life. It is mentioned in my patriarchal blessing! I am so grateful too, it would be too hard for me to give up!

33 and still dancing my way through life...

I sure love my beautiful daughters!

Olivia Pearl Girl at 7 months!

THIS BABY THOUGH.
If every baby was like Olivia Pearl Girl, I'm certain most people would have 12 babies.
She is perfection
My therapy baby
Dimples everywhere.
Delicious chub love.
Sleeps like a champ.
Nurses like a champ.
Snuggles like there is no tomorrow.
Jon and I often point towards heaven and say "Well played"
Because for sure we will have two more kids now. ;)

Livy Lou,
you turned 7 months last Saturday, the 15th of June.
You are so loved and adored.
The ladies at the Kidscare are always fighting over who gets to snuggle you
because you are so calm and sweet and soothing.

Your sisters love on you a bit too much for your liking,
that is one area you DO get fussy...when your sisters are smothering you and you need to be saved!

Your eyes are hazel! So fun. You still have that adorable blue vein over your right eye, like your Aunt Emily has. It looks like you are wearing blue eye shadow on one eye. :)
And you have tints of red in your hair and eye brows which is too fun and unexpected! You don't get much of a morning nap since we are always on the go,
so in the afternoon you easily take a 3 hour (or longer!) nap.

By the time it's bed time, I may break the rules a little bit and let you stay up later than your sisters
simply because Mommy and Daddy need more snuggle time with you!
You are growing up WAY too fast for my liking and I wish you could stay this age for at least one year.

I can ALWAYS make you laugh and snuggle and you certainly prefer your Mama holding you over ANYBODY else (the other area you may fuss over but other than that, you hardly EVER fuss).

This is from my Instagram/FB post regarding you, Livy Lou:

Baby Liv weighed 16.5 lbs at her last appointment (53%) and is still tall at 26.8 inches (78%)!
She has delicious baby rolls everywhere but I'm particularly fond of her neck roll, wrist rolls, and thunder thighs!
She is getting better at eating solids and especially loves sweet potatoes.
She is getting more of an opinion on things and becoming increasingly vocal!
She loves to smile and giggle at the world. Everyone who holds her falls instantly in love.
The ladies at the Kidscare at the gym fight over her so they can have a 'baby therapy' session.
She can almost sit up on her own!
Her mama is her favorite person.💘
She is still my therapy baby and I'm a little worried about how quickly she is growing up! We love our Livy Pearl girl and all the joy she adds to our family.

You LOVE to jump!!

So proud of yourself :)

Therapy sesh at church

Amberly couldn't love you more. She can never get enough of you!

Your sisters can always get you to laugh.

Your room is temporarily the theatre...sorry about that. But not sorry because we are
saving up for our future and our home still!

Two bottom teeth popped through right around Mother's Day! Just like your older sisters!

Mama can always get you to laugh. :)

Uncle Bubba loves to Beatbox with the babies!

Oh and this has nothing to do with your turning 7 months, but how cute are your older sisters!
I love when they play well with each other. :)

You are such a blessing to your Mama and your entirely family, Olivia Pearl!
We love you so much.

Love, Mama

St. George and Vegas 2019

Our life in movie form. :)

We tagged along with Daddy for his work conference in St. George last week and then decided to continue the drive south to Vegas and visit some dear friends of ours. Jon and Daniel Scow became very close friends during the rigorous BYU Law School years, and his wife Suzanne is top notch. We became super tight and survived those years together, and I cherish our friendship and her constant example to me. We love the Scow's and the fact that there are six daughters between all of us! What were the odds?

Our little getaway was just what we needed to break up our normal routine and focus on playing together. I sure love my crew to pieces!

December 2018

This baby is a complete angel. She has restored my confidence in my ability to take care of newborns and is a pure delight to have in our home. Life was still crazy over the holidays because hello three kids! We have good days and bad days but I wouldn't trade my life as a mother of these three beauties for anything in the world. I adore my little crew and I am the luckiest to be their mama. I am so grateful to have such easy access to forever document these magical moments.
