My video camera is nothing special, but these people are my everything and I am so grateful to document our memories through these clips! I am a few months behind in finishing this movie but Violet learns how to walk at nearly 15 months, Amberly loves to sing, we celebrate Daddy's 33rd birthday, and many more standstill moments are captured. Life is so rich and my family is so precious to me.
I feel that all the stars in the heavens aligned when I married into the Ditto Family. I met all of Jon's cousins in June 2010 up in Helena, Montana at his grandparents' house for an extended family reunion, and it has truly been love at first sight ever since then. :)
They just get me. And I just get them. They are my people and they love my crazy.
Plus, they LOVE to dance. Every family reunion they ask me to teach them a new genre of dance to perform. I have taught them the Hula, a Bollywood number, Hip Hop, and this year....
They freaking requested Thriller.

I like to simplify the dance and modify it to a sort of line dance, so that all ages can participate. Also, I cannot move like Michael Jackson, nor have I ever met anyone in my lifetime that can actually move like that legend of a dancer. HOWEVER, we had a blast. They ran with it, as they always do.
I told them NOT to smile, but be zombies. Regretfully, I am smiling almost the entire time because I was just so happy they wanted to do this.
Who learns and performs THRILLER at a family reunion? Dittos do.
