Of Weddings and Waverunnings

7:40am on Saturday, August 31st. I'm just about to start my morning workout when Chelsea calls in a panic. The girl from the salon never showed to do our bride's hair. Who forgets something like that?

Sister, cousins, and mother of the bride to the rescue.
Furthermore, our sweet bride popped two ribs out of place the day before. The move and the stress of the wedding were too strenous on her. She could barely walk that morning, let alone shift from sitting to standing. Why did his have to happen to our Brittany, one of the sweetest girls on the planet?

How we really felt inside.

But things have a way of working out. They were sealed for time and eternity in the Timpanogos Temple. Poor Britt could hardly move, and hugging her friends and family was painful. But she glowed nevertheless.
 Aren't they darling?

And the baby girl showed off her lovely bump all day for Mama and for photos.
Sheesh I sure love that good-looking man.

And the bride was just breathtaking.

And the bridesmaids were a bit sassy.

And the ring glittered for all to see.

And the forever four bonded some more.

And despite all the troubles of the morning and her aching ribs, we agreed with the bride that her day was a joyous success.

So Jon and I moved on to the next adventure over Labor Day weekend - waverunning with the Dittos at Jordanelle!

And the baby liked it.

And the wifey took a turn driving.

And the Dittos looked so stinkin cute as always. (Silly Mom, thinking she'd get away with not riding this year. None of us would go for that.)

 28 Weeks

And the husband couldn't decide which one he liked better out of the growing Gus Gus belly or the wild Lion's mane hair that came out to play.

And the Dittos bonded. Except, we really missed Dan and Alicia - major void without them there.

My little Joshy is growing up. I'm sure on his wedding day, I'll think back to when I helped him with his 4th grade
Valentine's Day box.
He's in 8th grade now and tells me about his dreams of his future neice. He is going to be the cutest uncle.

And that concludes our awesome Labor Day weekend. We sure love both of our families to pieces.
